Sometimes finding extra space is right under you, literally! Take advantage of space under the bed, plus monsters won’t be able to get under there!

A kids room can be challenging to furnish because they need space to play, sleep, study and be able to store everything.

They’re called cubby, platform and storage beds – there are as many DIY ways to make them, as there are ways to call them.

Another bonus, you don’t need box springs.

Get the look: Whether you are on a budget or have basic handy skills, use three sturdy bookcases in a u-shape, a sheet of plywood (to provide a flat surface for the mattress) and a few screws. Works for any size bed.
